Journalist. Producer. Storyteller. Communicator.

Raised across four countries, I’ve learned that the most powerful stories are those told with heart, context, and courage.

I’m a journalist and editor with five years of experience reporting for some of the world’s most respected newsrooms, including the BBC, CNN, and the Financial Times. My work spans broadcast, digital, and social media, and is rooted in a deep belief that powerful storytelling can make the world more informed, more just, and more connected.

I’ve called Zimbabwe, Iran, South Africa, and England home, and that global upbringing shapes how I tell stories: with empathy, clarity, and an unwavering sense of responsibility. I specialise in making complex issues, like gender-based violence, global geopolitics, and conflict, accessible and engaging, especially for younger audiences.

At the BBC, I’ve reported on everything from femicide in Kenya, gun culture in South Africa, and the conflict in DR Congo. I’ve also appeared on the main news channel to speak on gender-based violence in Kenya.

Previously, I was an intern at CNN, where I helped produce interviews for the Emmy-winning show Amanpour, with guests like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Tyler Mitchell, Jeremy Strong, and Gina Prince-Bythewood. At the Financial Times, I interned with the FT Weekend supplement magazine HTSI, where I dabbled in fashion journalism while supporting fact-checking, research, and feature writing.

As a freelance writer, I’ve contributed to Refinery29, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Al Jazeera, Rolling Stone, VICE, and more, covering everything from BBLs to fibroids in Black women, to how the gaming industry is reshaping Hollywood.

My journalism is powered by cultural fluency, editorial rigour, and a commitment to representation.
